Thx for these updates btw it feels a bit better now playing on the PvP realm.

Something's broken with AV. Everybody just got kicked from the game. Not sure what happened but I think someone capped a flag just seconds before everyone got kicked and game closed

Dinged 60 about 2hrs ago but still I vote yes because I think this could really help to increase the population, at least I hope so.

It makes the quest https://octowow.st/db/?quest=4809 almost impossible to complete. I've managed to loot 2 horns from some 30+ kills :P

Edit: There might be something about using spells that causes them to enter this un-lootable/skinnable state because if I wand them to death instead of using Mind ...

These two mobs have an issue regarding looting/skinning.

Sometimes (it happens frequently) when they die the skinning icon appear but when you try to skin them the message "Creature must be looted first" show up on the screen, but they can't be looted either. I've tried using the regular Skinning ...

Are you online now? I can not connect.


My public IP is 85.***.221.27. The website says:

"Your current connection is not on the whitelist."

When I try to connect, the client stays on "Connecting...".

From Linux, I also tested the realm connection directly:

play.octowow.st → 92.114.107.111 ...

I got mine from the spider cave in UD starter zone. NPC was in the same room as the big spider.

My experiences today and yesterday are actually the best I've had since this has started so far, not sure what changed but things are very stable, albeit with a slightly higher ping. Keep up the good work though, we're rooting for you all.

I managed to get my verification mail today. It seems like the server is getting more and more stable

hmm I'm wondering why the address used to authenticate by WOW is being reported as abused 100% https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/185.165.170.59?page=1

The oldest report is from yesterday. Is it possible that some trash is on the server?
