It is indeed UI issue cause noone sane clicks the actual model of character in pvp. Nameplates are there for that which makes is super easy to click them (and as Deebsy mentioned you can hide pet nameplates). I don't see peopel complaining ...

This seems more like a UI issue if anything. You click on the paladins hp bar and hide all pets anyway.... Unless you deliberately want to kill hunter pets like me. :twisted:
