Because clearly it's normal for his friend who he apparently does not know that well to send him gold from multiple random characters as well as unprompted spend money on him having more in-game gold.Darktifa wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2026 11:17 am
If I understood correctly what you wrote, why do u accept random gold from random players?![]()
Yeah, site which need only name of your toon can login at your account w/o log/pass, make auction deal...Gizthemog wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2026 3:17 pm Also I have no knowledge of posting anything on the auction house unless the website can do that automatically I have no idea. I just received mail that had the gold
Not trying to be dismissive but if they have logs from his usual IP of posting stuff on the AH that's pretty hard for anyone else to fake in order to weaponize it. It's kind of an Occams Razor situation. It's far more likely that it's just yet another person buying gold and thought they came up with a good explanation without realizing that the devs would have details like which IP was being used while posting auctions.
It would look completely different.Terribletank wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2026 8:47 pm if what looks like an AH purchase for 1k gold could be a COD for 1k gold.
I'd recommend trying to do that internally.
So you're going to level up an account, farm gold on it, then send that gold to someone so that both of you get banned? Come on.
