I’m having serious connection issues with N'Zoth and at this point the server is basically unplayable for me.
Here is what happened:
- Initially I couldn't connect at all and was getting "Disconnected from server".
- I tried connecting normally and through NordVPN (Germany/Netherlands) — same issue.
- I checked my account/whitelist and my IP was not on the whitelist.
- I then tried Proton VPN Free, as recommended for the current connectivity issues.
- With Proton VPN I finally managed to authenticate and select N'Zoth, but then I got stuck on "Logging in to game server" for several minutes and was disconnected.
- This morning I was actually able to play N'Zoth normally without any VPN.
- A few hours later I couldn't connect again.
- After several attempts with Proton VPN I eventually got into the game, but my character/world didn't load properly and I couldn't do anything.
I've already tried multiple VPNs, different locations, restarting the PC/client, etc. My normal internet connection works perfectly with everything else.
This clearly looks like a routing / upstream / anti-DDoS connectivity issue, not a problem with my client.
Can someone please check what is happening with my connection/IP and tell me what I am actually supposed to do?
I really want to play on N'Zoth, but constantly trying different VPNs just to get past the login screen is not a reasonable solution.
