OctoScanner - Chat bulletin board for PvE/PvP groups, trading and guild recruitment

I've recently finished OctoScanner addon, so I figured I would share. It reads adverts from your joined chat channels and organizes them into a sortable, filterable table, so you can find groups for PvE, PvP, trades and guilds without following every line of chat.

What it does

• PvE, PvP, Trade and Guild sections. Group adverts are split into LFM, LFG and Unsure; Trade has WTS, WTB and Unsure.
• Parsed details. Recognizes roles, classes, levels, group progress and named dungeons, raids, quest groups, battlegrounds and trade services, including Octo/Turtle content. Hover over a message to read the full advert.
• Filters and columns. Filter by activity, role, class, level or message text. Choose columns separately for each section. Class, Filled and Lvl start hidden in PvE; you can enable them through Rows.
• Mini feed and alerts. Keep matching adverts in a compact feed, with optional popup, sound or chat notifications.
• Editable whisper templates. Send a whisper from a row with one click, using placeholders such as your own class and level. Nothing is sent automatically.
• Resizable UI. Adjustable columns, seven skins and saved addon scale from 50% to 100%.

A repeat advert updates the same player's row. Records stay available during the current session; loading or reloading the addon restores only records younger than one hour.

Installation

1. Download the ready-to-install ZIP above and close the game.
2. Extract its single OctoScanner folder into Interface\AddOns.
3. Check that Interface\AddOns\OctoScanner\OctoScanner.toc exists, with no extra nested folder.
4. Enable OctoScanner in the character selection screen's addon list, then type /ocs or click the minimap button.

Built for the Vanilla 1.12 addon API. SuperWoW, Nampower or ClassicAPI are not required.

Join the chat channels you want to scan; the addon reads the messages your character receives. Closing its window keeps scanning active.

If an advert is parsed incorrectly, please share its exact text, what you expected and what appeared in the addon. Remove any names or private details you do not want to post.
