Epic pvp gear delay

So the epic pvp set is delayed until AQ40 release in March. Nothing to spend our honor on until then. We are forced to pvp in pve gear. Why?

More disturbing fact for me is that the PvP weapons are coming. I have nothing against PvP weapons that have stats, I have problem with transmog. In the past, these weapons could be aquired by small minority of R14 players, these were very well looking weapons.

Turtle WoW changed it and it brought negative feedback on their forums, I remember it well. People were crying that a casual could buy whole PvP transmog by reaching R10.

Back to main topic, I think there is a reason they delay it. If I remember correctly, second tier of PvP gear was very strong like BWL gear with additional Stamina. If whole gear were purchasable as soon as BWL releases, raiders would buy BWL-level PvP gear on day 1, gear stronger than anything else obtainable now. By the way, is this gear in database somewhere?

Not every piece of gear needs hit. For example the spec I play (Disc Priest) relies mainly on stacking crit in PvE. In my case I don't need to be hit capped because crit is worth more. Also, you are probably thinking from melee perspective, spell hit isn't as much important for casters as for melees and you can get some from rings/trinkets/neck and talents of course.

Also, I don't take for granted the PvP gear will outperform BWL gear, I only suppose it might be a thing at least on day 1 when everyone has MC/ZG/K10 gear - PvPers would buy PvP gear on day 1 if they had enough honor.

for pve its worse then bwl gear. outside maybe tank shaman, because twow never designed tank items for em and they rely on tanky talents
