Using pve gear in pvp = good
Using pvp gear in pve = bad

Seriously, why don’t they just increase the cost of PvP gear?
People who were actively running battlegrounds and farming honor to gear up absolutely cooked. And those who played battlegrounds just for fun expecting the meta to shift due to the release of new gear are cooked too. Now, Octodevs is telling them to go farm BWL a thousand times over. Looks like they don’t want to keep their players, preferring to let them head off to WoWForever instead

If whole gear were purchasable as soon as BWL releases, raiders would buy BWL-level PvP gear on day 1, gear stronger than anything else obtainable now. By the way, is this gear in database somewhere?

PvP gear has no hit rating. I repeat, PVP GEAR HAS ZERO HIT RATING ATM.

It's wild how you people don't understand itemization whatsoever. Hit rating isn't the end all, buddy. Do you think people stack Hit% endlessly? You realize there's a hard cap on it, right? You realize most classes really don't need that much of it, right?

It’s as if you have no idea what are you talking about. T2 PvP gear at best it will be equal T2 PvE gear for PvE. The PvP weapons are also very weak they’re even worse than the weapons that drop from Onyxia's Lair.
In that case, I don’t even see the point of a delay, at worst the devs should just increase the honor cost for gear
