I'm not sure if it's on my end or if others have experienced this while looking back at their BG footage but the naming seems to be off. So for me, the name "Doakes" (an undead rogue) showed up over another player (an orc) and when I found myself at the BS in AB, my avatar was running around but it had someone else's name over it.

This could be an issue on my side entirely but I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen when looking back at recorded BGs.

Thank you for the report! Please file any bug you see with CRBG with /bug or the websites bug tracker. We foresee some bugs to pop up considering how large and experimental the code change is

Edit: I can confirm that the this is a bug on our end when a user watches too many demo's on a row. This will be fixed in the next hotfix. Thanks for the report again!

Hey for me it is the pixelated npc "editor model box" and when i try to watch my archive or recent battleground it says:
"Your battle records open in a book that needs a newer version of the game client."
I already patched the game and opened the right client. Also turned off all addons and tried it too.

It was like this for me too and I needed to update with the launcher.

My only other piece of advice would be the classic attempt of deleting your wdb folder and launching the game again, which for me at least tends to solve 33% of my random client issues.

Thanks for the help! Sadly it didn't work. I never have problems that would require deleting my WDB but i just tried it. Still the same message.
What is weird is that, since a few days, i can see the d'dossy pet (before it was just a editor model block as well).
But this Battleground Replay npc is a editor model block now and keeps telling me the same yellow message in the chat:
"Your battle records open in a book that needs a newer version of the game client."
-I deleted WDB
-turned all addons off
-patched the client
-opened the client through various .exe's
Nothing worked.
