yep still same issue i just wanna be able to play on this awsome server

They havent given up. Hold, stay and play. Cant login at 50-60 attempts, though im on the whitelist. And when logged, play for like 10 minute, and it gets me out.

If we want Octo to live, then I think we can't give up too!

We all will make it thru the hard times, the price of victory is high. So is the challenge. I would love to see the day when most nice, adequate and helping people of Turtle wow and other vanilla wow communities will bear this thing together and then we will have our beloved game.

I'm getting so frustrated, and not with Octo. I hate that people are getting angry at Octo for what's going on when they should be getting mad at whoever is ddos'ing this server. I guess I just truly don't understand why someone is even doing this? What's it to them? I just want to enjoy a private server that has continued a legacy that made me happy for over a year of my life. What reason could somebody possibly have to ruin this for people like me who just wants something to come back to after work to smile?

@Wow22Wow23 I guess, its worldwide. The battle between parasite and creator-like mindset. It is just the gaming part of it. Same as into wow itself, we have dirty deeds and scumbags and kind hearted and helping people all at the same time. For some, their bread is bringing pain, chaos and frustration, for some its helping others, staying firm in your beliefs and trying to move on. What mentality prevails worldwide, and will we be able to breed a new one, imho, is gonna determine, if our civilization will continue, transform or vanish by genetic bombs.

Kestel, could you at least give the players an answer or provide some information about the future? Will the connection issue be resolved, and if so, roughly when? You’ve been unable to fix the DDoS and connection problems affecting hundreds of players for 40 days now. At least before, you provided some information—promising first that it would be fixed in a day or two, then that it would be resolved in a week—but is the strategy now to just stay silent?

As far as I'm concerned, they just gave up and stuck with what they had, hoping that sooner or later the DDoS would stop and the problem would resolve itself.

Almost 7+ hours to just get past the login screen only to be at a standstill due to massive lag. Can't logout and don't want to risk Alt-F4.

40+ days with no definitive answer in sight? Not even a single mention of backtracking where the attacks are actually coming from? Sucks when the only free time you have to try and play is during peak DDoS. Breaking point is reaching soon.

I feel you Brother,
Prime time (EU) login server not reachable and if you get in 10 second LAG spikes every 2 minutes.
meanwhile guildies report that they have no issue at all...... that makes it al the more unbearable,
I also see no future any more for me at this server.... and will go to the dark side in about a month
