That "niche" is why we have a PvP server. What works for the PvP server and what the PvP realm wants isn't necessarily always what works for the PvE realm and what they want.
As stated before, the only difference behind the servers, is whether PvP is always on in the open world. Otherwise there is zero difference. You can say that PvP realms are the "true" experience in a world where there are two warring factions. Then there are PvE realms for the players that doesn't like this reality check, when a rogue stalks them through Feralas, killing them until they log off.
On PvP realms, you can't have shaman and paladin in the same party.

Beckett has been put in forum timeout for a second time (for the same thing), the third time will be a permanent forum ban. Do not throw around crazy and serious accusations without evidence. It not only is harmful to the community as a whole, but it also cheapens and makes light of genuine issues.

I dotn think the lasher nerf is good it just makes raiding consumes more expansive and the ah gets manipulated all the time no thats also gonna be worse. in turtel they implemented the weekly raiding quest to combat the raid consume pricesl. so i think it would be better to wait with the lasher nerf untill u also implement the weekly raiding quest.
making raiding more expanisice just isnt fun

If consumes are that important and strictly necessary for everyone in raids, that is another problem in and of itself. I get it if it's just to compensate for not having great great yet. And for key players (tanks?) in specific situations (hard bosses). Also nobody would be surprised if HC raids require maxed out buffs.
But if consumes are otherwise generally a requirement for raiding. Please balance raids around not requiring that, on the very same basis that World Buffs are not for raiding.
Of course, consumes/maxing out buffs would still be relevant to minmax or get tactical advantage in PvP.
Sidenote: It initially felt weird that on Epoch you could only have one defensive (Guardian) elixir and one offensive elixir. But I got used to it. And come to think of it it makes sense. So you don't just have to spam all potions, but have to prioritize for a tactical advantage depending on your build and strategy.

So we were lied to during the fireside chat about a 2xp poll coming to the PVP server... I can see why you wouldn't want to do it now seeing how much feedback this thread has gotten. Poor taste to broadcast it and never follow thru with it.

People don't mind using consumes if they're affordable. Gimping the market by severely hamstringing how many herbs are available will end up with people doing one of the following
1. They just won't buy them.
2. In guilds where consumes are mandatory and they can't afford them, it will push them towards RMT, which seems counterintuitive. As a tank myself I need flasks + protection pots along with the basic consumes, not really an issue for me since I can gold farm but all this change does is make it more expensive. No upside.
I do agree that having 1 guardian/1 battle elixir on would be quite neat. Alternatively could do it the way TBC did, have flask count as both.

leveling is a pointless content and u made it harder. ye ye
Oh darling, you're on the wrong server for that kinda preference. Blizz servers with purchasable boosts might be more your thing.

Agree with other posters on this tread that lasher drop rate nerf seems overdone, i am relatively sure it was never this low on Turtle. Even if it was it seems a mistake to me in the long term. Aboard with a small nerf to increase herb prices a bit but this is over the top.
