Ddos attack login problems

Hello everyone,
Just started playing a few days ago but only had the chance to play 30min or so.
i am already read up with the current situation. but was wondering what the best course of action is at the moment.
Do i just wait after login until de server continues so that i can play
or
Do i keep loggin in and out until it works? (this seems like a bad option since i guess i'm overheating the server like a ddos attack.
