my server was down all day yesterday. I redownloaded the server. works today ,maybe not tomorrow.

down again guess i m looking for different game. its rediculous that its down all the time. would like to enjoy the game.

I do not know where to post this, so hopefully I will get help here. I have been waiting for the DDOS attacks to end and the improved security to come into play. I had redownload Octo twice, the second time when I press "Play", I get this error: "This application has encountered a critical error: The system cannot find the file specified. Program: C:\Users\Owner\Downloads\Wow.exe File: Data\patch-4. mpq Press OK to terminate the application. I have looked up what to do on the internet and most answers about overwriting the patch to make it work. I am not that tech savvy so if someone could help me solve this error I would be greatly appreciative.

Sounds like something went wrong with your installation; most likely it failed to download all the required files. Try doing the full game download from the web site instead of going through the launcher and see if that works properly.

You only need to redownload the launcher after uninstalling it. There's an uninstall executable in the same location you installed it to. No need to reinstall the game. Just locate it within the reinstalled launcher.
