Good Evening Octo team and pvpers of all kind!

I'm not super active in the forums, so I'm not sure if similar posts have been done recently. I just wanted to inquire the status of and take on arena development, in regard to:

-> arena activation (its not playable currently, at least on the pvp server)
-> elo system development
-> arena seasons (title/reward allocation and ladder reset once each 3 months or with new raid content)
-> ability to use consumables in arena
-> arena rewards (I liked the idea of non-bis or cosmetic rewards outside of just arena points being class-rank-gated. A similar suggestion has been made in this post, to negate class balance issues. WoW never was balanced and I don't think it should or even can be balanced. If there were titles, recipes, mounts, pets, tmogs or any other cosmetic items purchasable for only the top 2% of each class, that would really add prestige to the arena system without forcing anyone to play arena.)

I would be more than happy to hear a word or two from the developers about it. You guys are doing great!

Anyone else can obviously share their thoughts on this too <3 But please refrain from deviating too much from the arena status topic.

There is no mention about Arena on the roadmap, too.

I suppose it might be broken and requires some development. If I remember correctly, Arena wasn't fully implemented on Turtle WoW - I mean the conquest points were not obtainable so Octo must do some balance around it, rest was playable. Arena is one of the unfinished parts of content by Turtle WoW.

Rated Arena was to be the only source of conquest points according to old devs' promise on Turtle forum. Assuming that T3 PvP gear that originally required conquest points is as strong as Naxx gear, we might expect Arena to be released along Naxx so according to roadmap that is June 2027.

Not correct, it was announced that conquest point will be reward for:
-world pvp events,
-some kind of daily/weekly quests,
-arena.

Conquest points (no weekly cap) are required to buy tier 3 PvP gear and gained in Ranked Arenas, PvP World Events, and Call to Arms Battlegrounds
