Cant login - Cant recover account

i have access to the email i made the account with

not sure what happened suddenly i cant use my current password
didn't get an email or anything..

Please help got level 60 dodo

Does it say you're banned when you try to login?

Are you posting to the forums from that account? If so, how did you login to the forums? If not, the devs will need your actual account to figure out the issue. ( Don't post that here publicly. )

It appears that this account was taken over by someone who had access to your username and password. The account was then sold through an RMT site.

We were able to validate your ownership and reset the account back to your control. You should be able to use the "forgot password" button with your original email on this account to reset your password.

If you did not share your password with anyone at all ever, then please contact me privately via DM so that we can do an investigation into how this account takeover occurred. If you did share your account username/PW with anyone, please don't do that again.

I got my account back!

I never shared my password, but some hacker still got me good. I suspect it might have been through one of the shady private servers I played on, or one of their patches I installed. I also made the mistake of reusing the same password.

I do think I heard of some larger password list leaks happening recently, those do happen a fair bit so could have likely been that as well.
