I ask you to change the appearance of these PvP weapons to something else. These are models of original R14 weapons - weapons that were iconic and were held by very small fraction of the most dedicated PvPers.
Turtle WoW added these weapons in patch 1.18.1 to enrich PvP gear progression but they reused the outlook of original R14 weapons due to lack of new models.
This had brought negative feedback from the community back then especially on Turtle forum. The main issue was that such iconic transmog could be acquired by casual players who didn't spent much time in BGs. The scarcity of this transmog was ruined.
I am sure adding this transmog on BWL release would make more harm than good to this server. It's not good when fresh level 60 can obtain this transmog with that little effort - and that was the issue during last months of Turtle WoW.
But you haven't added these weapons to the game yet. You still have time to avoid repeating the same mistake that Turtle WoW made. I hope you make good decision.
