There is a degree to which dev has to stay true to his own vision but there is also a degree to which they have to pay attention to what their community is saying and be realistic about it. Of course, if community is saying we want to be able to type in "hesoyam" and have insta 50gold, obviously you draw a line at those requests. But the degree to which this community is neglected is sad. I can't call it anything else but ignorance. Thinking you know whats best, introducing pointless, population damaging decisions without even asking your players.

If you are rehosting TurtleWoW content and their community is coming back to your place, why would you change the game to make it worse for the community?

XP was nerfed in ways that were completely unnecessary. Completely pointless decisions to make the grind even grindier. BG XP nerf that deincentivized BGs on lower levels. BG XP wasn't a big deal at all, I was full rested at all times, I leveled through questing, dungeons and BGs and still did almost every quest. Now on my alt there are no BGs. You guys nerfed dungeon XP, why? You guys nerfed XP from mob tagging, why? Player kill xp nerfed, why? I can't boost my alt with my main because why? You can do that in official wow, why is it bannable here? Tabard teleport removed, why? 2x to 1x why? Can't do this, can't do that. Completely pointless decisions, waste of time on developers end to make game even bigger time waste instead of building forward.

This is a PVP REALM, its not HC or PvE oriented, its focus is on PvP. We are not asking for instant 60 realm, we don't want that. We also don't want the funserver exprience but the xp changes made leveling here giga tedious. Now Yshaarj has zimbabwe tier economy, nobody buying or selling anything. People wanting to level other characters but get sick of it 10 levels in and just give up. No dungeons, no bgs on low levels. Few new people that come in, I have no clue how they are gonna make gold. Gotta do every quest in the game or grind mobs because there is no other way. Please, listen to what your community is saying, in this case its the right thing to do. We don't want this place to die and we want to make this realm better. 80% of this realm pop played on Tel Abim, we know how and why pop fell and rose again on that realm. Don't let this turn into gurubashi realm on epoch.

I do appreciate the bugfixes and I also thank you guys for making it possible to reconnect back to BGs after game crashing. I am not complaining for no reason, I recognize the good steps forward which make the game better but what I am saying is what the MAJORITY of PvP realm community is saying and thinking. Contrary to what is being said on forum that we are a vocal minority. No, we are a vocal majority that devs are not listening to and if you want proof of that, put the poll in game. The poll on forum proved that, put one in game and we will see. In the middle of the DDOS we get a poll about banning gold sellers but you guys can't put a poll about this on our realm?

Revert these changes, atleast for PvP realm or make a poll on PvP realm about it. If PvErs want 0.1xp let them have it on their own realm. The overwhelming majority here doesn't think that way.

Also, where is that PvP director? Dude made 1 post promising UBI checks and goth anime gfs and hasn't been heard from since. I would personally like to hear his opinion on these and other suggestions in Yshaarj subsection.

And for gods sake, please rename subsection to their realm names so we don't have PvE people coming over here and posting things that have nothing to do with our realm, trolling and making posts with the intention to bury what we are posting.

Inb4 PvErs from nzoth come here to tell us what they want PvP realm to be without even playing here.

Amen, agree 100%. Stop actively trying to destroy yshaarj, unless thats the goal then just rip of bandaid and merge with nzoth already.

I agree even though I don't play on PvP realm. Why can't they add x2 rates to PvP realm even if majority supports it and that was a thing on Turtle?
Octo owners are unnecessarily stubborn in certain matters and in others they just break whole tradition (look at this change from daily to weekly BG of the day - it was reverted fortunately).

The reason they don't want x2 rates is because these rates are not intended rates for casual players to experience the game. This point of view would make sense if we only had 1 server - but we don't - we have 3. Turtle WoW solved it perfectly. Nordanaar was to be "eternal" with x1 rates and other traditions that made this server iconic. And other servers like Tel'Abim and Ambershire were secondary servers where Turtle tradition could be altered for convenience of specific playerbase. Tel'Abim was to satisfy WPvP audience and Ambershire was for Classic Andies who hadn't had a chance to experience Turtle WoW yet.

bc the dev team comes from a pve hardcore only playerbase and for whatever reason they're incapable of understanding outside perspectives from their own tiny community

SOD dropped + fresh people went away. Later it bounced back with people realizing blizzard is dogshit and coming back from SOD plus turtle wow was getting popular in general, nordanaar got giga pop so they had to release ambershire to split pop. Yes I am aware whole time was x2. What you are looking at now is even worse situation because octowow is not turtle wow, it doesn't market itself for obvious reasons, its a different situation. Even if they don't bring back 2x the xp nerfs already did damage, the least they could do is revert all xp nerfs. So you are looking at no promoting server + nerfed xp + x1 even slower lvling than tel abim + shit economy + no dungeons, no attunes and no low lvl bgs. Could that then with that pop fix by itself? Maybe, maybe not. But things should be done so that it is surely fixed through dev intervention. Wowf coming out is following similiar timeline with what happened to tel abim due to SOD release so keep that in mind, but this is not turtle wow.

Ye me and alot of people came ta after sod just because it was 2x exp and made lvling doable, here some of us went well its twow with 1.18.1 pvp patch we will manage, now pvp gear is absent from bwl ton aq40, and 1/2 people went nah not going because 1x exp.
