Shaman suggestions

During the final patch cycle on the Earthen ring discord it was brought up by every single tank shaman that the new rock bitter change was out right stupid. It is such a disadvantage at low gear levels when you run into a pack and your first auto misses and you lose ALL of your DR mitigation. Why this needs to be a thing when Paladins Warriors and Druids have no possible way to lose their own DR.
The reasons for the change. The unkillable resto shaman in PVP. I lived this spec, I understand it is strong. I don't get the rational here. A Holy paladin can go deep prot get their own 10% DR and not give up all chain heal utility and still have bubble, blessing of freedom, blessing of protection, Conc aura Holy shock and CLEANSE. A tank resto shaman is bringing single target heals that can be kicked or silenced with dispellable knock back protection.
This is not a symptom of 10% DR being to good for shaman, its a fact that the bottom of the resto tree is just SOOO BAD. We spend 10 talent points in what a paladin would spend 5 in (illumination vs Undertow and Tidal Surge), and then we spend another 5 making chain heal usable. Chain heal as far as I know was never fixed to target lowest % hp players either. It will just randomly heal anyone missing any HP.
Another change that should be made to the ENH tree is to swap Shield Block and Enhancing totems. Shield Block should be 2 points 5% block chance and I really dont know what value of block rating you would need to attach to the talent to ever make it worth it, but I'm going to say 100% for literal laughs. No redoubt and no Shield block make Block value a ALL or nothing 102% Mitigation build.
Un-nerf Shaman T2.5 Revert it to its original form, in its un-nerfed form many were using it to tank K40 until they had T3.5. After its nerf many swapped to using T3 DPS gear as the set had lost its niche. The spell power should be removed and replaced with Spell hit/more tank stats. Tank shaman doesn't need SP, but it badly needs higher baseline spellhit. Missing your first earth shock or chain lightning is rough.
Resto. Resto is brought because people still think chain heal is broken. Without the T2 set of classic and without its actual smart healing component its just not that good. With priests change to prayer of healing shaman was falling WAY behind on raid heals, and never could compete on single target heals with anyone. So that leaves you being a Windfury bot, which is maybe what everyone is okay with.
Elemental. Has nothing. Without the over whelming damage fire ele had. Nature ele is just shitty destro warlock without lifetap. My big suggestion for Resto and Elemental shaman. Spirit link and earthquake are just not cutting it. I would move Spirtlink into enhance as a tank CD, I would move earth quake down the tree in ele. I would give ele spell power totem. An I would give Resto a labotomy, no but for real I have no idea what I would give them. When you see shit like daybreak in the game. What the hell could you give resto shamans. Resto shamans are always going to be melee DPS group bitches and will never benefit from a caster totem. With Enhancing totems moved to T1 ENH, you have could resto totems give dual effects? Like your earth totems gives STR and Stoneskin, your wind gives WF and AGI, Water gives Mana and HP, Fire actually Stacks with WF. Seriously Resto shaman is in a bad hard to fix spot because its tree just gives NOTHING.
ENH mana problems, I just don't know why Shaman has to be so reliant on Judgement of Wisdom/Blessing of Wisdom to fix their whole Class. Parties where a paladin is mana battering the whole raid with holy strike, JoW/BoW, and my mana stream totem is having trouble breathing and chewing bubble gum. I DO NOT WANT PALADIN mana regen reduced. I just don't know why shamans who already CANNOT give salv to a party like EVER, can't have much stronger party and self mana management.
Thank you for reading my incoherent rant. Yes Wind fury is a god tier totem, I just don't think this justifies all the perks given to paladin, while shaman can't even use Vamp with a fire totem.
